Dude used Alleva to broadcast admin info in the will Wade stuff while at the advocate to parlay that into a gig with Sports illustrated.
Sports illustrated almost immediately after goes belly up.
He then has bounced around and using his old BR contacts clearly was in with the Woodward admin as well.
It was both.

Most journalists are losers - I say most, not all.
Inherently weak and feeble minded people who rather talk about other people who actually build things and deliver on vision. They look to critique and be pessimistic about people and things in order to mask their own sense of inadequacy and insecurity.
Typically low energy and cynical. It's why most are left leaning.
In Ross's case it's likely a combo of him being an alum of a lower stature school and having to live in/cover LSU and the fact that LSU is now led by a lot of people who inherently highlight the inadequacy and insecurity mentioned previously, whom he disagrees with politically in addition.

Rumor is lsu was when lsu was in town in Starkville back in his time as an undergrad and his girlfriend at the time ventured over to an lsu tailgate, they got in an argument he left…she stayed and got the good ole tiger treatment.

Exactly. Every time Woodward wanted to leak something to the press, he went through Ross. Ross no longer has that connection with the current administration, so he’s become the mouthpiece for Sankey in the SEC here.
