Did anybody’s SEC pride disappear after 2011

I use to pull for every SEC team in bowl games and for out of conference games. I remember being happy that Florida beat Ohio State in the national championship game. The same when Auburn beat Oregon, I use to have a hatred for the entire PAC 10 conference after the 2003 season. But after the 2011 championship game having any SEC pride just seemed foolish. Screw Bama, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. I hope they lose every game.

I don’t mind the majority of SEC schools and would pull for most if they were in the playoff over LSU (like UGA last year).

I think the only SEC team I can bring myself to wish the best for is SCAR (in football) and, I don't know why- fans probably, MSST in baseball.
Otherwise, frick them.
I fake 'SEC pride' only when to jack with fans from another conference. And I suck at faking it.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again... I used to like the other SEC schools more when I encountered them less. Since the SEC Network came along and the SEC Rant got overrun with fans from other schools, I’ve found that I dislike them more.

Proud to say I laughed when Auburn got passed over in 04 and rooted for Ohio State over Florida way back in 2006.

You should at least pull for every team that LSU plays to win the regular season game that play that isn't vs LSU in order to make LSU's strength of schedule as high as possible. Then, if both teams play LSU, then pull for whatever benefits LSU the most.
Now that there are 4 playoff spots up for grabs, strength of schedule is more important than ever as far as winning a national championship.

Who wants all of our SEC opponents to lose every game? That's silly, and makes the conference, and us by extension, look weak.
Better to play in the universally recognized strongest conference. It attracts the best players and gets the most attention and respect. Otherwise, we're the MAC or Mountain West.

Exactly. I don't pull for any SEC team outside of LSU generally ever. This hokey idea of conference loyalty is BS. It doesn't benefit LSU or improve our record so frick em.

Sec pride helps other schools not called LSU.

Stopped in 08 . Pulled for OU vs UF.
Then rooted like hell for Colt McCoy and co vs Bama in 2009.
I think Verne Lundquists obsession with Tim Tebow and Bama did it for me.
