Yeah, I wonder why CJJ didn't think of that. "Hey guys, how about instead of bringing the ball from the other end of the court to 25 feet from the basket, you just go right up to the basket and start our offense from there. What could be in your way? Oh, the defense of the #1 team in the country? Well that could only be a problem for horrible coaches! That's why everyone else scores every time against OU!"

They held Baylor to 68 points, and WVU to 72. They held Baylor to 34 second half points, just 3 more than we had. And Baylor is a ranked team. I'd say putting up 31 points in the second half against this OU team isn't necessarily "horrible." Believe it or not, OU was trying to win the game, too. They were trying to stop Simmons, and he did a great job of getting the ball to other guys when they did. And Quarterman was lights out tonight.

I guess the question is, since CJJ is responsible for every aspect of this team -- meaning it has to be just as good or horrible as a team as he is as a coach -- how did this team just come that close to beating #1 if it's so horrible?

Ben is a good player but he is definitely not the best offensive player in college hoops. No jumper and plays weak down low posting up.

Dude. Please tell me you are joking or you are just trying to stir some shite up. If not, you need to never post again..... NEVER.

Oh wow....you played the "you touch yourself at night" card. Nice. Damn. I am beat. I got nothing in response.

You still haven't really explained the Pizza Hut thing. Was JJ really dialing Pizza Hut at the end of the game instead of calling plays?

It always amazes me that everybody always looks at it just from the LSU perspective...like we are playing against air instead of 5 other players who also want to win and who are being coached by a coach who wants to win.

We made ourselves easy to defend today, especially in the 2nd half.

You can call it whatever you want, though.

I'm glad the National media is speaking the truth about JJones. Proud that are boys played hard today but it's easy to get UP for the #1 team in the country. Under JJones we've never been consistent and we'll coached.

I wish we would have tried to stop Buddy Hield.

Agreed I said this last year. With the talent we had last year we should have been a sweet 16 team.
This year we should be an elite 8 team.

We're not a half court team, yet we took ourselves out of our own game trying to become one the last 12 minutes of the game

Also have no idea why we went home with a time out in our pocket

Wait, so you say we're not a half court team, but with 3.8 seconds left we should have called a time out to set up our half court offense against OU's half court defense . . . with 3.8 second left . . . rather than try and score in transition?

maybe Jones isnt drawing up plays for Simmons because he cant trust him to actually take the ball to the hoop instead of pass it off to the first person he sees. just sayin...
