you realize Wade has to be found "guilty" of committing level 1 or 2 infractions and/or him being indicted in state or federal court to activate that clause right? So if the NCAA doesn't have enough to hammer us, then the school can't fire Will Wade with that new clause in his contract. Further, based on that verbiage, Wade, specifically, would need to have been found guilty of failure to monitor or LOIC (or something along those lines) for that to activate.

Here we go again........I want (and expect) our athletic programs to be run by ethical individuals who abide by the rules. If you disagree with this premise, you are not a real LSU fan because you don't care about the reputation of our university, faculty, staff & students. If you don't have integrity (especially in sports), you have nothing! YOU should do a self "integrity" check and get over yourself.

If this is a pre-requisite for you, might be time to stop following major college athletics. Every major program in every revenue generating sport pays players. If you were jerking off to The Scheme, as I'm sure you were, that should have been your biggest takeaway

Some of you guys on the Rant are ONLY about making excuses for coaches with serious character flaws. Very sad. Also, not the view of a true LSU fan. I am now convinced that all of you who use this (everyone does it) excuse to justify WW's alleged behavior, are NOT REAL LSU FANS.

It’s about winning and making money in college athletics. Great players and teams lead to asses in the seats and revenue generation. In order to get the best players in all revenue generating sports you have to “bend” the rules. If not you won’t be able to compete. You need to accept that or stop follow big time college athletics. Stop with your you are not a true LSU fan, I just don’t live in a constant state of denial -about the college athletic landscape

It’s not going to fall under the new clause, but he’s already broken stipulations in his contract to be fired with cause. There would just be a fight from the wade side
