I've been saying this all year and called nuts for saying it but it's just the truth. Easily the closest thing I've seen since TM. He's going to be a good one and just makes plays, like TM did. He comes off of blocks with ease and tackles just as easy. He's always looking for the ball and goes for it. Once this kid really learns the defense he's going to be the best linebacker we've had in a while. I think Phillips is also this type of LBr, add Gay to the mix and we have some dangerous stars in the making. Allen would be a nice addition also, I just don't get what these guys can't see? Come play for Aranda and shine GT

His instincts are so good. He finds the ball as good as any young LB I've seen. That strip/almost score play on Thanksgiving night was straight ridiculous.

There aren't many programs that can lose a guy like Beckwith and replace him with someone like White. We are going to seriously need him to lock down that ILB spot going into our brutal '17 schedule.

That's an extremely bold prediction, Michael Brooks, Mike Anderson, Bradie James, Moonie Winston, etc. there has been some very talented Line Backers at LSU

Beckwith and Riley both has 90+ tackles. Beckwith easily would have had 100 if he didn't get injured. He's our only true mike on roster. You how he doesn't average 8 tackles a game though?

They had 90 tackles and our offense wasnt good. With a good offense id hope white would get 80 tackles. Hopefully out TOP and the defense getting off the field wont allow White to have 100 tackles.

Im hoping our defense doesn't have anyone with 100 tackles. You should too. Bama had 2 players with more than 69 tackles and 1 player over 83 tackles.

How about those clothesline tackles on kick offs. I recall a few he had that looked like nasty hits, and they werent even head on collisions. I agree with you op, been telling everyone his name all year. Kids gonna be a fun to watch, and with Aranda? Good lord.

I wouldn't say he "ran down Lamar Jackson like it was nothing." It's not like Jackson was scrambling and White just ran him down in the open field. HOWEVER, that play was still very impressive. Poor lineman never stood a chance, not even with the little bit of holding we saw, and I absolutely agree with you, White will be an absolute monster next year.

That ole miss beheading (cant just label that a tackle because calling it a tackle vastly understates what it was) and the strip are plays made by a grown arse man. Not a true freshman.
