This is a complete shite show if true... I knew we would lack continuity on offense with Orgeron as HC.
calm down...we won a national title in Gary Crowton's first season as OC. please stop acting like these people aren't replaceable.

^ The Cluckster is right. Canada didn’t exactly set the world on fire.. it just seemed fresh after what we saw for 12 years. I won’t be mad if he leaves- give me a new OC who doesn’t rely on gimmick BS

ETA: Casting my vote for Hugh Freeze. If he comes here I’ll call the damn escorts for him

I believe it to be true.
Personally, I'd like for Canada to stay, but if it's truly not working out between him and Orgeron, best to move forward.

Only way he stays is if there’s no opportunity. This has been imminent for months.

I can’t imagine Alleva signing off on ensminger
That totally contradicts the terms the CEO was hired under

I’m not one to think they aren’t replaceable, but I hope we are smart about it. Going from a spread concept back to a pro-style is a bad move if O just feels more comfortable with that. I believe the players were finally starting to grasp the offense.

If Canada is leaving, then replace him with someone better. Briles/the old UT-Austin OC would be a great hire. I’ll puke if it’s Sarkisian/ or some west coast USC cronie. Build off what we are doing now and adapt to the talent that is pervasive to this area.

To be fair....... it’ll be at least the 3rd time a HC has fired or ran him off. I personally like Canada, but there’s a definite pattern there

This would really suck no matter what any mouth breathers think. Canada really had the offense rolling after the bye week. I'd love to see what they could do next season.

Crowton had Flynn and Perrilloux and his Oregon OC style had far more balance and diversity.

Flynn and Perrilloux were both way better QBs than Etling.

Please be Hugh Freeze or Kendal Briles

I guess you're ok with never having a running game and the defense being on the field the entire game?

Who isn't? Perrilloux was under-utilized, especially with Flynn injured after the 2nd or 3rd game.

Crowton was a better QB Coach and had better pass routes.

Canada was fired from his only 3-year stint at NC State by Doern for not developing the QBs and not utilizing Tempo.

LSU is in the bottom 5% in Plays Per Minute. Averaging 200 less than the mean. Tempo is an essential tactic. LSU takes 30 seconds to run a play. By then the Defense has subbed and everyone in the stands and watching on TV knows what is coming.

Canada has been on like 5 teams in past 7 years... red flags for him if he's getting either pushed out or he wants out. If he gawn, he has issues with being part of a team and only soution is him to be a head coach, so he can be the bossman. Good luck.

Crouton was a shitty QB coach.

Both Perrilloux and Flynn spend more time under Fisher than Crowton

Crowton was fired by LSU Maryland and a Canadian football team.

Crowton fricking sucked. He sucked here and everywhere else he went after.

Because we were by far the most talented team in the country, we aren't anymore.

FAU, Baylor, Kendal Briles: They run 2x as much as they pass. They have no playbook and go fast. But the strength is in spreading the field and having the Run Pass Option.
