Why would he be spreading this non sense so close to ESD? even if it isn't true it casts doubt among recruits.
The program has a latent self-destruct wish. Geezus why would he say it even if it were true? Craven attention getter like all of the scum in the news biz...

So answer the question then. Why did Orgeron hire him and make him one of the highest paid Asst Coaches in football? My agenda on here is to point out we have morons running our football program. But most people on here just refuse to see that. You will make excuse after excuse for Orgeron.
We got left at the altar by one of the best in America. Do yourself a favor and go look what Kitten has done with that shithouse FAU in 1 season...go look! I'll wait.....
Ok, now do you see why he was all in? Canada was a last second fill in that we HAD to offer big to...we could NOT afford to miss one anyone at that point!

Has orgeron or alleva held a real job? Lol. They each will likely make more in one year than you will in a lifetime.
And yet they made their backup plan and someone that clearly nobody wanted one of the highest paid asst coaches in football. LSU football is in such great hands. Lol

Backup plan. Needed someone quick. My guess is he has had plenty of time to hire who he really wants this time. But I hear ya, let's just pile on O.

Dude they got a real chance to finish top 10. If you were half as smart as you think you are, you would be ok. You little punk kids...never accomplished anything, don't have a dime to your name but you know it all. Jesus. I'm done conversing with a 15 year old.

Well this will be the year that decides his future. His OC hire here will be his future at LSU.

it's our fault for posting about Canada b/c that led to Pomansky seeing it and relaying it to O

Can we all start posting about how noble and awesome it is to resign from your job?

You sound brilliant.

This model of hiring great coordinators and letting them do their job,and the HC being just a "manager" is a tenuous one. It works as long as you've got competent coordinators willing to stick around. The real question is what's going to happen when Dave Aranda eventually gets a huge job offer that he can't refuse and LSU lets him slip away?

Outside of Malevto, we've done pretty good with hiring DCs recently.

Maleveto was a disaster, steele was bad, Pelini was good, Chavis was solid, Aranda is on a different level.

LSU's offense was clearly less predictable this season than it has been in years past, though. And Etling was limited talent-wise. I'm thinking that with an upgrade at QB (which hopefully, Brennan is), Canada's offense will be even more effective. With an accurate passer, LSU would have likely beaten Alabama this year.
