Dessert looks like he could be one of if not the best guy on the team.

Be interesting to see him in P&G.

He is tall, good body, and works well in the pick/roll game. Most of his highlights is him coming up to either the 3 line or top of key.

Screen and pop.

Don't know what kind of mid range game he has. But excited to see him

I think LSU is about to be really good. Wade and staff need to push for a 3-5 seed IMO.

Scouting reports say that he has no mid range game, and his career 47.6 FT% supports that.

Luckily with this roster and Wade's style, LSU doesn't need him to score from mid range or deep. His main job will be a defender and hopefully he's going to be a rebound machine and clean up the glass on both sides of the court.

eta: This upcoming matchup with the big for Florida State Ponder will be a great showcase for what Dessert can do. Ponder had 13 pts and 21 rebs (12 offensive) in the exhibition vs Auburn.

Everything I have read puts him firmly in the potential star category

I really like dessert. It's unfortunate that santos and a couple more players aren't coming

The roster was going to be pretty good.

Ruzic should be good too and should stick around for a couple of years

Every highlight I've seen is him making a layup or dunking

I think he'll be a very good presence and big body that can finish around the rim. I don't think he's useful outside the near bucket. He'll be very necessary against teams with big bodies.

That's why the way he plays and the way Ruzic plays will complement each other. Ruzic can make a big come out and guard him on the 3 point line which opens up the lane for Dessert. If left open Ruzic can hit the 3. Going to be interesting to see how Wade uses them.

That's not really his game, he is not going to be a big scorer. I think a more physical Yves Missi is a good comp for him. A good rim protector and very good on defense. Offense limited to rolls to the rim and putbacks.
