Get used to seeing that RB play as the QB for the next 2 seasons. We will continue to have winning seasons but no championships with AJ at QB.

BTW Coach Miles - Harris can run with the ball too. Plus pass the ball downfield big time.

Not sure we opened it up but the play calling was a little different tonight. Open it up means we throw 15 - 25 yard post and out patterns downfield. Not sure we saw too many tonight. Jennings is just not capable as a passer

Yes he is. Jennings' ability to throw the ball is not the problem. It's decision making. He's still usually behind so he's not able to throw on tim and with form. When he does, he shows nice touch. His pass to Dupre was a thing of beauty.

Even when he catches up to the speed of the game he'll still have a weakness in that he doesn't have zip. But that's not a big deal in college. I still think that will be the reason Harris overtakes him.

I liked the changes but I think a lot of them had to do with the A&M defense. They were vulnerable on the edges and they got abused there tonight.

I don't buy this at all. LSU hasn't "game planned" for a single opponent all year. Until last night, the offensive approach has been the same regardless of opponent. Last night's plan was the realization that what they have done all year has been completely ineffective, coupled with the fact that it was the last game of the season with nothing to lose. We've seen Miles do this before in bowl games (see '10 Cotton Bowl). A&M's defense isn't very good, but neither was LSU's offense coming into the game.

If will be interesting to see if they continue to try new things in the bowl game. However, history has shown that next year's offense will be largely the same as this year's REGARDLESS of the QB

You mean there are more viable run plays other than toss dive and lead dive???

Wish we had that versatility from the beginning of the season.

Harris is done - Miles has been publicly trolling the kid since before the AL game. Pretty sad that a coach would tease the kid and lie in public.

It was encouraging to see the new looks. The jet sweep, the read option out of the pistol, etc. No clue why it took this long to get AJ in a better position to succeed but better late than never. I liked the read option out of the pistol and was very effective all night. Gave us the power running option with the dive and the ability to stretch them out as well. AJ made the right decision most of the time. Our plays complemented each other which was good to see as well.

Still need to finish drives better and have that killer instinct. No way they should have been in that game.

And Dural needs to work on his upper body strength big time. Gets manhandled at the line.

And to all defenses, don't stand on the tracks when LF7 is coming through.

A&M can make even A J look like a serviceable QB. It wasn't our offense. It was their defense.

I'm glad that somebody realizes this. Our offense is still horrible. A&M's defense is just worse. Their DC is likely gone after this season.

We should have been running the read option all year.
