This team is tough as NAILS and General Wade has them playing like they can beat anyone at anytime. The tourney is gonna be a fun one, here’s a look at when we could be back at full strength:

X Pinson - probably back Sun @TCU
Days - back Wednesday v.Ole Miss?
Eason - (seems like cramps) should be back Sun @TCU

Adam Miller - could he come back for SEC tourney before NCAA tourney?

Gaines, Murray, Mwani, Fudge & Reef getting very valuable experience right now with the injuries to our stars.

This team should be fully locked and loaded for the end of SEC play (4 tough games), SEC tourney & NCAA tourney.

We get those 4 guys back, avoid other injuries and it’s not far fetched to believe this is a potential final 4 team. Enjoy the ride baws!!

Just want to see what this team can do at full strength. I’ve felt cheated so far by the injuries.

Also, TCU is Saturday

We play Saturday instead of Sunday. I bet he sits Pinson and Days again. Eason I’m sure will play. Regarding Miller, I wouldn’t be looking for him before next season

This team is roller coaster. I guess you can say it’s a typical “Louisiana” heart attack team that we love in our own certain ways. I do think this team can make a run later in the year. Wade has this team disciplined to make a run in March.

For Adam Miller, okay maybe SECT is a long shot but Wade reported two weeks ago that Miller could be back shooting in 4-6 weeks. That puts him back on the court shooting somewhere around February 20th.

SECT starts 2.5 weeks later on March 9th.
NCAAT start 3 weeks later on March 13th and last for 3 weeks.

Idk if it’s completely out of the question for Miller to return this season. But even without him, this team is set up for success.

Yea shooting. That’s a long long way from playing shape. I’m very excited about Miller for next year though

& yes I understand shooting on the court does not mean playing in games with contact

Don’t remember wade flat out saying O’Neal was ready but according to how he expressed his status, Miller may have a small shot at the sec tourney. We just gotta focus on pinson and days. And hopefully Eason was just wear and tear.

FYI TCU is going to be just like a SEC fight. It could be a game that keeps us near the top of the SEC net rankings. I know that’s important to wade. So I would guess pinson or days plays. Gaines Eason and Murray are the glue right now and are hopefully not skipping treatment. Their minutes are getting up there.

Agreed, TCU isn’t a gimme and we may even be slight underdogs on the road.

But I think Pinson plays since he was close to playing today. Also update, Eason was confirmed as just having cramps so he will play @TCU.

You mean like losing 3 of 4 and escaping as a 10 point favorite? Gotcha

Can you be positive about our basketball team? Tonight was a big win, missing 3 of our best players and still pulling out the win.

It's not like I'm negative, hell I have us 11-7. I just can't go giddy surviving a team we were double digit favorites over, and that line included Pinson and days out. It's not some turning point. It was a good conference win at home. The problems this team has offensively aren't going away.

AtM looked pretty strong to me. They were 15-4 and 4-2 in conference. Missing Days and Pinson and starting 3 players for the 1st time all season should have put LSU as 10 point dogs. Great victory! Tigers have the mental toughness that you earn by playing and winnings games like last night. Very impressive!

I do not want to risk any of those guys in a meaningless game against TCU, Better to have them healthy for conference.

LSU remains undefeated when at full strength (or at least minus Miller).

Getting Pinson back in particular is BIG.

A plus about these injuries is you started the year with an 8 man rotation during key games. Now when fully healthy, the tigers have 10 with an improving Williams and quality O’Neal. Makes us just as aggressive and slightly better on offense IMO.

I would cum if through all this adversity, we managed to win the SEC Tournament after everyone has written us off.

We have been less than 100% (Not including Adam Miller) in every single SEC game minus Kentucky and Tennessee until Pinson got hurt
