I think we should utilize our TE's more, by the way.
New coach and new OC that spreads the field and throws the ball a ton. With the set of WRs will have on the field, having a pass catching should have an opportunity to get much more reps at McNeese.

That guy should keep playing ball unless that isn't want he wants to do. He should have worked out with LSU.

Pretty low rent move for him to tweet that

Also, the last TE from LSU went to McNeese, he played a significant part in the offense.
If LSU doesn't use Smith or Quinn, I hope they both end up in Lake Charles

our offense relegates the TE to an OL with a number in the 80s. our offensive philosophy eliminates the middle of the field, which eliminates the vast majority of routes a TE should be running. so since we use them primarily as blockers and don't use their area of the field, why would we spend much time developing them as receivers? why would that even make sense?
They throw to the TE 3-4 times a game. Against Tech, it was atleast 4, one catch, one int, one drop and one that was almost picked.
That seems like a lot considering how much LSU passes.

let's say that tweet is 100% truth
he's still outing his teammates (as of now) and stealing their spotlight

The TE's are wasted at LSU with that abyss of an offense! Smith is an NFL talent and will def ball at the NFL level. It's a shame how they waste talent. Smith and Jeter will play in the NFL and Jacory Washington hasn't even sniffed the turf at LSU and you would have thought he would be the one to get the hell on out of dodge. Washington was a pass catching beast comin out of high school.

Yep and they go to the NFL and blow up! That IS on Miles along with his 4 straight losing Novembers!

Hope both are thinking about going to McNeese. Hoeffer seems like he will run wide open. They'll get their touches here.
What's the word around town?
With Landon Hoefer being a Mike Leach disciple, I have to think that the offense will definitely open up some.

People are frustrated as hell and tired of the bullshite. They play in a ridiculous offense that should be on display for pop warner kids at the park. Incredible talent is wasted every damn season there. These kids are there to play football, improve their skills while learning to become well rounded, emerging productive future leading men for their generation. Doing all this while coming together to win championships for the school they signed on for and love. Instead they play sparingly, learn hardly anything and improving none of the talent they came there with. If they are lucky to get playing time it's a blessing as they are quickly sent back to the bench or used in some other bizarre manner where you pretty much never see them again. They leave LSU just as raw as when they came there, but still get drafted and make NFL teams because of that good raw talent that they have. Just ridiculous!

What do we really know about him since he's been at LSU? Any time a college player doesn't sniff the field, even on special teams, you wonder about grades, commitment, attitude, health, being in shape, etc. It's pointless to drone on about some player getting screwed, but we are the Rant, so tard on....

even shite Ds like TTech and EMU shut down our rushing game (with terrible Ds) for long stretches until LF busted a long play
This happens to every team . No rushing attack is immune to bad play for stretches of a game.

and yet with Less Miles as coach they're all turning out to be unemployed, homeless, leaches who are a breath from being incarcerated!!! Meanwhile had they gone to another school they'd be NFL stars with PhD's winning Super Bowls and Nobel Prizes!!!
