Its pretty upsetting to see a successful class of players leave (as a whole) on such negative terms. Hopefully all of the negativity surrounding the departing players blows away by the spring game.

Losing the very last game of the season/career is never easy. It leaves a bad taste and makes it harder to put the larger succeses in perspective.

Which players?

Unfortunately....it's the world we live in now. So many ways to voice your opinion and get noticed.

They better suck it up and prepare for the rest of their lives.

I'm just looking forward to another season. I've already put last season behind.

JJ calling out the fans after the game (for booing him), Blackwell's comments, Peterson's comments, Lee's comments

Nothing overly negative or offensive. Just seems like players leaving one of the winningest programs in the nation would leave on a more positive note. That's all.

you are really stretching here dude. Not one player has stated or even implied that they are leaving on bad terms.

Didn't end the way they wanted but none of them are on "bad" terms

Our fans suck

The BCS loss is heartbreaking on several levels, not the least being our hopes - and expectations - for a perfect season. While there will certainly be those (players and fans) who choose to remember only the BCS and forget about the 13-1 record, that's life. Don't think for a moment that our coaches, players - and fans - are quitters.

I would have loved to be a fly on the wall in the Randle household when Miles visisted RR after the NC game to convince him to come back.

Especially when most of them were so vastly outplayed by the competition! I will be glad when this all blows over, it is not good for LSU,

Really, none of thier comments were too too bad. I thought Lee, who had the biggest reason to blow steam, was very classy and level headed about his comments. Time heals all wounds, they will be back around watching the Tigers climb to another dominating season and that water will be well under the bridge.

The 2011 Senior Class:

Finishes 41-12, with an SEC Western Division & SEC Championship Game win.

They won more games every year they were on campus (8, 9, 11 & 13). They played in 4 bowl games, finishing 2-2.

That one game for them was the pinnacle of their career, unfortunately, & its difficult to get that bad taste out of your mouth. But time is the only salve for those types of wounds. Some will remember it bittersweetly. Some will remember it fondly. Some will let it poison the well forever.

I feel sorry for those that can't let it go & enjoy their accomplishment, regardless of whether we failed in the last game of the year.

so true, I believe some of the problem also was removed when they left, bad attitudes are cancerous in any program.
