I get his off the field issues and they are trying to address them, but you can’t tell me he’s not the best cornerback on this team. Get him out there asap

Yeah I agree. I’m at the point where we have to play our most talented players, regardless of issues. Harris was playing like an all American last season.

There are rules and if you break them there are consequences. Football is also about life lessons

Either him or Welch.

We aren’t going to beat many elite teams starting CBs from Marshall, Southeastern and Syracuse (which three played essentially the whole game last night).

Just put him in man on his side of the field. Occasionally help over the top. Then piece together the other side of the field.

Sampson, Hilton, or one of our other talented wideouts need to see the field.

Heard needs to start.

This seniority stuff should end.

I don’t think anyone disagrees that he’s the most talented.

But the reason he’s not in the field is on him.

He has to be the one to correct that. He should be pretty damn motivated to do so after last night.

And if he’s not, then he needs to go

Yeah let’s poison the whole well for one guy who we’ve never actually seen.

Any kind of quarterback/offense is gonna cut our zone to pieces. Very little ball recognition, secondary was missing assignments, didn't tackle well, didn't look athletic. I could really tell the secondary hasn't bonded. To be fair, you can expect that with that amount of turnover

No doubt, felt bad for our little DB matched up against #14, looked like a 9th grader next to him.

Denver Harris and Jakailin Johnson are comfortably the 2 most talented and best corners we have on our roster. Harris was a mid season freshman all American at A&M and as someone who actually watched and broke down his tape from last year he was legitimately awesome for a freshman corner. Johnson started 7 and played in 13 games as a Redshirt freshman at Ohio Stats last year a Top 3 team in the country. I knew it would be an uphill battle without those 2 guys.
