guess you’ll have to message Delly for the audio if you don’t believe him

I don’t think he’s doubting Kiffin told that to Delly.

He’s doubting Kiffin because he’s talked about this several times over the years and never specifically mentioned that call or “promise”, JFC only Alleva would make a hire based on a pinky swear

Man that would have been fricking awesome, but we most likely wouldnt have gotten Joe Brady or Burrow.

Then it wouldn't have been fricking awesome.

While at #Bama in 2016, with LSU debating whether to hire Ed Orgeron, Lane spoke to AD Joe Alleva promising he'd come to BR to be OC if (1) Joe hired O and (2) he didn't get a head job.

Maybe maybe not. I don’t think I’d trust a word out of Kiffins mouth.

He wouldve been not as good as Joe Brady, with way more drama, and would've taken the ole miss job along with all our classified information. We dodged a bullet.

Also I think he knew he was getting a HC job, even if it meant less money or a small school like FAU. He was just doing O a solid by telling Alleva he would come.

He’s not even that good of a offensive coordinator imo. Not compared to what bama has now and what the top offenses look like. Definitely not compared to what we saw last season here.

When he gets fired from Ole Piss, strong chance he joins O at that time.

Yeah there is obviously a recruiting element to this being said now, three years later.

You can go play for my old DL coach and hope it wasn’t just Burrow and Brady that made things look better for a year, or you can come play for me, the guy he wanted to run his offense and pretty much the reason he got the job in the first place.

He doesn’t miss a chance to play mind games, Delly just too desperate for clicks to see it for what it is.

Well, still a head Coach .... that we will see every year for awhile. Will take a few recruiting seasons, but this guy can coach. It won’t get easier with him & now Leach in the SECW.

Whether he got a head coaching job or not, was entirely up to Lane Kiffin. He either accepted one that was offered, or "follow O to LSU". So he took the job at Div 1 powerhouse, Florida Atlantic (3–9), earning less than half what LSU was paying its other coordinator, Dave Aranda.

Let that sink in . . . .

Lane Kiffin, former coach at USC, Alabama, and the Oakland Raiders was NEVER following EdO anywhere!! Just look at what he did to Arkansas, and to Tennessee, and you know is word is shite.

Those of us that didn’t believe O would lead us to a championship were wrong, clearly.

...If O gets us back into a NY6 Bowl next year, I’ll be wrong again, but the sustainability of this specific CEO model, especially now that he is a top 5 paid HC, is still uncertain and imo unlikely to keep us in CFP contention.

I still believe we will remain right about the same 9-3 type level we were at before he was hired and likely would have always been had Burrow not been available with little competition in the way he was.

But, I’ll be happy to be and admit I was wrong if he proves me to be so yet again. Here’s hoping and praying
WTF? So you were clearly wrong and you'll be wrong again, but you think you in fact weren't wrong, and you believe you were right, but you'd be happy if you're wrong and you're hoping and praying you aren't right?

Sorry to break it to you, but nobody GAF whether you think you were wrong or not except for you.

Why not focus more on enjoying the show instead? Have some popcorn along the way.
