Baton Rouge regional first pitch times should be 11am and 7pm each day. None of this afternoon crap. If Jay wants to play at 11am then so be it. We'll all record it, throw our phones on silent and watch it when we get off work.

Genuine question. Assuming we win tonight when would we play again? Would it be tomorrow night or Sunday?
Tomorrow night assuming games 2 and 3 don’t get pushed into tomorrow afternoon/night.

Live off ESSEN & Perkins, dark skies & constant thunder. No rain yet. FWIW....... This does not really hurt LSU if this holds up. The late game.....thank you, CJJ for your wisdom... teams will get screwed, especially the loser. A late as hell game tonite / tomorrow a.m. then an early losers game tomorrow a.m.

They don’t want to start, then have to delay, then restart.

I swear if they bring the tarp back out for this sprinkle that's about to pass over the area.

Who is U-High playing today? Who is softball playing today? I could have sworn their seasons were over.

There has to be a better way! We could have played the game as scheduled with absolutely no risk to any fan or athlete.

Isn't this a fact of life with Baton Rouge regionals?

Yes

And we’re going to play a night game on Friday night at the Box and people are melting. It’s going to be fun as shite.

They have played games, at tiger park and u high, while baseball waits for “reasons”

I don’t care what a high school team does. And a softball pitcher can stop, delay for 2 hours, and go back in the game. Doesn’t work that way for a baseball pitcher. Imagine in 2023 in game 1 of the super had we started on time with Skenes. Then delayed for 3 hours, only to lose him the rest of the super regional.

People are only annoyed because it changes what they had scheduled that day. They care none about strategically how it affects the baseball team. Jay cares about the latter as should any fan fan with a modicum of common sense

And that’s clearly a Jay thing. That isn’t how it ever was in BR before him

And I get it. But at times, what happens, like today, is you delay it and you absolutely could have played in your original window

Why can’t we just say the philosophy on how to handle potential weather delays chances when Jay got here?

Just making sure there wasn’t some stupid rule that three games can’t be played in one day.

Not according to the NCAA. It’s their call.

I don’t want to blame it on Jay if it has zero to do with him
Didn’t he make a comment after the Oregon State in game delay in 23 that it wouldn’t happen again?

Friday's weather delay is the 17th LSU game that has been affected by the weather. Before Friday, the weather had affected first pitch times for LSU by nearly 70 hours.

Not gonna lie. I’m real fricking sick of LSU baseball never starting on time. It’s gotten old this year.
