Agreed. He does NOT remind me of Devonta. He is not nearly as fast, and he is more physical than Devonta. He has a little Chase in him the way he handles contact.

He's this team's version of Jefferson.

Yeah, Come to think of it, Jefferson is the best recent example. Jetts was so smooth and could catch in traffic. Fast, but not elite speed.

Deion still has a long way to go.

He does not have a long way to go. Smith is special today.

Yeah, I can see a little of both, but I was thinking during the game, the second coming of jets. The guy has major ball skills.

He’s maybe an inch taller but the exact same weight. They look very similar in the way they play

Devonta can do that in his sleep.

I’m trying to convince myself that it’s just because he wears #6. But this kid has the same skinny, long arse arms build Devonta had. He even runs similar, long strides and it looks like he’s floating when running routes.

Even tho he looks similar, he’s still 3 inches taller and 30lbs heavier than Devonta.

He reminds me of a 24 year old Megatron, except better at everything and stronger, faster, and to me, he plays much bigger too. I saw a video of him in the scrimmage catching balls with just his thoughts and feelings, was crazy. Sky's the limit, possibly.

Was it just #6 or does D. Smith on his jersey

technically, wouldn't it be both of these, as both D. Smith, and the #6 are on Deion's jersey?

The play where he juked a couple of kids looked like Jeudy/Jefferson.

What I do know is that Deion Smith should be on the field the rest of the year. He is super quick. I like Boutte, Smith, Lee, and Bech. All four of these receivers need to be on the field.

Our young WR group looks really good, we will continue to work in others too like Thomas and Moore. It will be interesting to see how they manage our Jr. and Sr. WR playing time going forward.

Devonta was a beast. There are plenty similarities between the two outside of their name and number.
But I agree, Jefferson is probably a better comparison based on size and the way he moves after the catch. Even had the little stutter step like JJ to stay in bounds and gain a couple extra yards.

He seems more physical. Devonta faster.
