I’m sorry but we need a .500 conference record or better. Some of us have actual hopes, standards, and expectations for the program.
If we aren’t .500 in conference then fine, we need signature OOC wins like every tournament team in the conference had last season. No more pissing our pants in tossup games against NIT teams

As of right now, with outgoing transfers, and graduating players. we have 2 incoming transfers and 3 HS players. Leaves us with 5 more spots to fill? Is that right?
Long story short: Yes, 5 spots left. Not sure if we have enough NIL, so if the 5th spot goes to Shaqir O'Neal, a legacy sf with good shooting numbers, i would be happy.

We went from 15th place to maybe 12th in the SEC now?

Well matt McMahon is 14-40 in sec play so this might make your head explode but we need to finish .500 in conference. Other programs and fans have gotten to enjoy twice as much winning in conference play as us, for some 3x the conference wins.
Sorry if these standards are too high for you. Embarrassing

How do you explain this one? You’ve been adamant that the NIL increase is a sham and that McMahon can’t get it done.
So how did this happen?

Does it matter if Matt McLoser will be coaching him?

No, the story is a sham. The numbers that were given have been proven false by multiple sources. That poster took a quote from an entirely different thread and discussion and tried to conflate it with this signing when in reality the two have nothing to do with one another.

No, that can’t be. I’ve been told on this site that we spent $30 million on last year’s team and it was just McMan’s fault! And yes, guys (especially player A that’s been at 4 schools in 4 years) are going to the highest bidder.
Seriously guys, last year’s team was not going to win anything. We could’ve been coached by Pearl, Barnes, Oats, it doesn’t matter.
Spare me the “he picked the roster!” Yeah, he made the roster working with a crippled budget.
Support the guy or not, he’s the fricking coach next year. If he fails, he’s fired. If does well, then good, let’s ride.

No one has said LSU spent a lot of money on NIL but sweet hyperbole. I’m sure you thrive on the rant with that kind of bullshite.
This program doesn’t need 5-7 million to not look completely dysfunctional at everything in basketball. We literally do nothing well and the problems this program has is not strictly a money problem.

Man, 5-7M has to be the absolute base. Any starter we get is going to be for in the 7 figures. Not even kidding.
Arkansas and Kentucky are prepared to spend over $10 million.
I hate the way this system is, but it’s what you’ve got to do to be even halfway competitive.

Oh I know you’re pleased with yourself for starting your little lie. You’re basically a gossip queen spreading rumors like a girl.
