-Bama three and out to start, we get the ball on Bama 40:

-Toss
-No huddle toss
-HB option pass that doesn’t fool anyone
-Punt

I wanted to stop watching, but wow does it put things into perspective. It’s insane that we let it go on for so long.

But wow... we had PP7, honey badger, Mo Claiborne, and Eric Reid on the field at the same time. That’s just ridiculous.

That game was all about timely big plays

Other than that, LSU offense wasn’t spectacular

He really called a TE reverse on 4th and 1

And it worked to perfection. Had Gary going crazy. DeAngelo Peterson bitched out at the end of the run. One cut inside and he would have scored.

He did way too much dancing. It was a brilliant call don’t get me wrong!

It was so frustrating to watch. It easily should’ve been 14-0 or at least 10-0 by the first quarter.

It wasn’t just our defense stepping up, but the ridiculously favorable field position that we did jack shite with.

I blame both the play calling and slow as molasses decision making ability of JJ and JL. They just looked lost and confused at times

Rueben Randle was an absolute beast. Russell Sheppard was insanely quick.

Also, outside of Tua, l forgot how Bama would try to hide their own QB deficiencies. Julio was visibly frustrated with McElroy—who threw so many terrible balls.

Watching the defense create turnovers and apply pressure was by far the most enjoyable aspect.

It’s amazing how bad we were at passing that year, but still went 11-2 and were maybe 4-5 plays from going undefeated.

we were a few plays from being a 5 loss team and miles woulda been fired for having 3 straight zook like years

UNC TE dropped game winning TD in opener

had fake FG not worked at UF we lose. Lee made up for JJ's shite play that game.

tennessee. had lee not completed a 4th and 16 we lose that game. finish at end woulda never happened.

add those 3 to 2 we lost and that is 5 losses and we coulda rid ourselves of all those crap years under miles of no hardware and underachieving.

I’ve said this numerous times on this board but that was one of the funnest days on campus I’ve ever had. I was a 20 year old sophomore at LSU we watched the game at shadys which was half full of bama fans and we were going at eachother the whole game. Tigers pulled it off and we had one of the funnest/wildest nights ever in that shite hole good times.

That crossing route to Reuben Randall for the TD is one of my favorite lsu plays ever. We were going nuts

people were called crazy for years for wanting Ben an average offense. Mind boggling where we were at.
