Here is a link to the worst design company in America. the company that got universities to throw out classic logos and go with their horrible designs which all look pretty much the same.

Why can't they just drop the font LSU or GEAUX and just use the Tiger Eye. People over think everything so much. They complain about attendance that the younger generation is taking over. So let's take a logo no of them associate With and make it our logo. Let's take the best selling logo over the last ten years and not make it our logo.

Will not buy an item with Toonces on it no matter how much I like the item. Likewise, if I see an item with a Tiger Eye on it I am tempted......go ahead, make my day; make the Tiger Eye the official logo.

The geaux font is excellent - don't know how anyone couldn't like it. Good looking, stylish, yet fairly traditional and unique. Keep it.
Hey, I'm all for tradition, but we need to freshen things up once in awhile (in a good way). I agree that Toonces was bad.
Glad to hear they're going to "tweak" the helmet tiger head, which is good, because right now it's unrecognizable, and from any distance looks like a chrysanthemum.

Well it still hasn't died has it? Lsu still puts out out new merchandise with that logo. Its was pretty much one big lie last year when they announced it.

Lsu even still has the tounces logo all over the lsushop page. Its not just the merchandise. They still use that logo everywhere

That IS the tweaked logo. That's the one that they unveiled on the basketball court and unis in the fall.
