Not losing to Nicholls
Because of stupid mistakes.
I take nothing away from Nicholls they played a great game, Lsu played a poor too mediocre game with a bunch of mistakes.

Pitching guys that are barely mid week arms is probably the most ignorant statement I’ve ever heard regarding baseball. They are college pitchers you twat.
Honestly Nichols played one of the best defensive games I’ve seen in a long time and I wasn’t upset about the loss. You asked what would make fans happy, for me that’s winning mid week games so they don’t potentially come back to hurt us later when national seeds are determined.

That game was terrible. You can avoid the reality of what you just watched to protect your feelings if you want, but the rest of us can acknowledge that LSU shite the bed.

Name the “bunch”. Let me start - the one run difference play where the UMP fricked up and didn’t call the guy out while he gave himself up was on THE UMP. That no call resulted in the players doing what they did because of the confusion. That is directly on the ump.
Merrifield running to try to score was NOT a mistake. You’re trying to win the game there. That guy add a GREAT PLAY which is the opposite of a bad play.

I doubt it will hurt us at this point. The SEC is so deep and we just played our guys through a murder's row to begin the season. I think it is smart to rest starters in the mid week right now.
