Dealing with each player at the end of every year.

Teams will need a whole staff just to do this. They sign a deal and a year later they are trying to get more money and if no deal they want to enter the portal. This NIL/transfer portal is turning into a total shite show. Going to be a lot of work when you consider how many players are on a yearly roster.

It's why Saban quit. Imagine the NFL if every single player was on a one year contract. It would be total chaos and fans would be rooting for an entirely new team every year.

1 free transfer, use it anytime but sit out a year after that! No additional transfer for coach leaving.

No matter when a player first signs with a school, he can be a free agent after 2 seasons have elapsed.

It’s worse than the NFL. These kids and their Unc agents are just freewheeling and threatening every year for a raise regardless of agreements

This aint a NCAA thing. That would get struck down in court, unfortunately
The only solution is collective bargaining among teams AND players. If its just teams (the NCAA).
Now that they are paid, you cant have rules like that without some sort of agreement that they also sign onto.
