I'll bite. Why won't he have a spot?

Obviously Orgeron doesn’t want to have a 5th year starting DE.

No but you can decide to be with your family for as long as you can if he thinks his Grandmother doesn’t, in his eyes have a good chance to recover quickly. It kills me how people think that doing something like this is somehow personal to them, like they’ve been cheated. It is personal but only to him and his family, we are fans only and must respect their decision and simply believe this shows the love and fear that someone faces when they are directly affected by COVID-19. I hate wearing a mask, I feel invincible sometimes but I have not or have not had a family member nor friends hit with the virus. I’ll pray for his family and hope all is well , and definitely hope as a fan he can come back next year.

Neil was playing defensive end.

Neil is 6’4 320 pounds. He’s a 3 Tech DT in a 4-3 but I guess he could play some 5 Tech DE in running downs. I look for Justin Thomas, Ali Gaye, Ojulari, Webb, McClendon all to play as DEs

I'm still not sure people have him right as a DE. I'm pretty sure I've sent multiple depth charts with him listed as Logans backup.

Problem is if everyone on the team starts feeling this way we won’t be able to field a team

By Neil! Get ready to opt out next year also, because COVID will still be here!

Caring about his grandmother is what he should do if she is well or sick. Not playing is another thing.

Jaquelin Roy just became a co-starter at 3 tech DT with Logan.

percentage of Covid deaths under 24 years old is ZERO

I support the kid, but I blame the ridiculous media and looney left for scarring the shite out of these kids. It takes a short Google search to see that his age group has a death rate of badically zero. This uneeded fear may very well cost him millions. Maybe the MSM will start a GoFundMe for what they put in his head. I hope other players will do some research before they opt out.

What does it mean that his family was “hit hard” by Covid? Did everybody die? No? Then did they just get sick, which is now apparently worse than dying the way the media spins it. To opt out of an entire football season just because you MIGHT run a fever and cough is ridiculous. It’s unbelievable how much this virus is controlling people’s lives.

Your delivery is poor, but it’s a good point. If your family has presumably had it quite a bit, they should be good to go through this season at least. They’ll be more at risk next year.

That’s completely false. You and that author don’t know how to read the chart.

OK death rate under 24 years old is essentially ZERO

Since YOU can't seem to read a chart, and I will give that the last one was for NC only, here is the whole US from the CDC.. I hope this one makes sense to you....
