Is there anyone else that can play 1B? My HS coach used to sub anyone, even guys that had D1 offers, if they were cold for a while. Taught us to produce.

That was one of his better ABs. Kd on a 3-2 breaking ball that was a strike after fouling a bunch off.

That was kinda nasty. Went 99 then followed up with something with a little movement at 90 on a 3-2 count. That’s getting most guys.

It feels like he knows if he doesn’t pitch Elwanger he is basically conceding this game. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place right now and instead of trusting someone out of his pen he is going down swinging
