Dredging my memory cells for this one but does anyone remember Eddie Palubinksa(sp?)
He was an Australian guard that Dale brought in who was a very good player, great shooter! Wouldn 't mind another one of those for sure!

LSU doesn't need a pipeline of Australians
we need talent pipelines wherever we can get them

Do you have any clue what kind of Australian talent, some practically under our noses, is coming up in the next few years? If I pointed out a thread from bubba would you read it?
Cliff notes: bubba pointed out that the #1 national prospect as of now for both 15 and 16 are Aussies.

Yes he was. I think he played on the Aussie Olympic Team.

Eddie P used to give individual shooting and bball skill lessons. He still may In 2 years I don't know if I saw him miss. He was flown out to LA to coach Shaq and raised his % to almost 70%. I always wondered why LSU didn't hire him to work with their players.

The Daily Reveille has an article about this. Still no official word:
Source: Patrick to replace Forrest

After the abrupt resignation of former assistant coach Shawn Forrest, it appears new LSU men’s basketball head coach Johnny Jones has landed an international presence to replace Forrest.
Sources confirmed to The Daily Reveille that former Saint Mary’s assistant coach David Patrick will accept the job to fill out Jones’ staff.
Patrick, born in Bermuda and raised in Melbourne, Australia, was the 1995 Louisiana Player of the Year after transferring to Chapel Trafton in Baton Rouge for his senior year of high school.
