2019 schedule: UT & 3 cupcakes first 4 games.

2023 schedule: top 5 FSU, two SEC West opponents, 1 cupcake.

Clearly we've played better teams this year so far.

Aranda is not on the hot seat.

It is just Baylor. They are not exactly an elite football program. Having mediocre years is ok.

We had 9 injured starters during the season and Orgeron admittedly altered and interfered with the defense. Once Aranda was left alone and we got healthy that D was lights out.

I know you're not comparing Bo Pelini and Dave Aranda.............

Our defense in 2019 never really put together a complete game until the post season. Auburn was the only exception I can recall.

Make Dave the highest paid DC again. We can’t let him go to A&M or Bama if he’s back

That’s crazy. I’d take Aranda or Leonhard. But the truth is we need better talent on the backend.

I’m starting the movement to hire Ed Reed as defensive backs coach!

When you are playing Chrstnutt it wouldn’t matter if Saban came here as DC.

2019 through 4: 1,280 yards, 93 points

14 of those points were scored by Vandy's Defense.... So really 79. I would also like to point out that the 2019 defense had the 2019 offense which led to more possessions by the opposition. Dave Aranda over Matt House any day.

The second half against Texas was one of the worst defenses I’ve ever seen at LSU.

After how many defensive starters were lost during that game?

Aranda’s lack of recruiting prowess is showing up in Waco. He can coach no doubt about it but Kelly isn’t bringing in a guy who can’t recruit.

If Dave does get fired we need to bring Aranda home.

Teams with "high powered" fast scoring offenses

While it’s not on the same level as the best offense in the history of the sport LSU does have a high powered fast scoring offense in 2023 just like they did in 2019.

They weren’t healthy until the end of the year. Once they got healthy they started playing a lot better.

Like our team this year? This is the 2nd best offense in lsu history and we’re leading the sec in most passing categories. I love how tRant thinks the only time you have a good offense is if it’s 2019 good.
