Kevin Faulk hands down! That little sugar shake move he had would leave defenders tackling air as he went for another 10-15 yard run!

Rondell Mealey--He was a legend at Destrehan High when I was younger.

One of my favorite Tigers is Carl Otis Trimble, my Dad coached him and I use to hang out with the boys at 6yrs old in pure awe of this guy. He was one of the best raw athletes I’ve ever seen. He was one of the first black QBs to ever start in the SEC. He was a super guy and role model. He graduated and was drafted by the Washington Redskins and tragically drowned in the Mississippi River at a draft party shortly after. It was a sad and devastating day for all who knew and loved him. RIP Carl Otis Trimble

Cool story time. My sophomore year of high school we played Independence in the quarter finals for 3A at home. Toefield was playing center and he could cover some serious ground. We made a few mistakes and lost to them but we could have won that game. We had beaten Evangel the week before. Before the game we all went to watch Evangel practice football and watched John David Booty throw as an 8th grader and he looked like a NFL qb. Watching that video of Toefield just brought back some great memories.
My favorite from my childhood would be Tommy Banks.
