Right now he waits in the pocket for two to three counts
This is a Denbrock issue imo. Plays are taking forever to develop

He can't read pre snap, holds it while trying to check down, doesn't have the ability to throw accurate passes in man coverage.
Qe will be underperforming at the qb position till a true passer is played.
So losses will pile up.
And BK will lie to you every week.
Don't forget to pay the high tickets, parking, TAF fees, and $20 popcorn....while he's lying to you

I noticed in this last game that his throws on the run to right seemed to be way off target. When he sets and throws, he seems fairly accurate.

I agree. But I know of at least 1 qb on the roster that's accurate on the run. At least he was in HS.

I'm excited to see that guy and we also have one headed our way that is accurate on the run in HS, at least from what I have seen.

I saw both Manning and Collins lose to LCA in the last 2 years. Collins looked way better against LCA. Though honestly, neither had great help and Manning's line seemed pretty bad last year.

Collins is just a really gifted athlete and throws a really nice-looking pass. Seemed to make really good decisions as well.

I said, after the Spring game, the only chance of making it to the NFL, was to switch to WR.

Watching replay, there were several times that as JD did his drop, the outside rush would close to him. He had a clear pocket in front, and instead of climbing the pocket, he tucked and ran upfield. Hopefully, they can get him to climb the pocket, keeping eyes downfield and then running if he doesn't immediately see an open option.

This is what I've noticed as well. The pass blocking has been better than this board makes it out to be. He's had a solid pocket plenty of times and he decides to tuck and run.

Mislabeled? Number 2 coming out of high school.
HE's not the problem. OL is horrible. This week will probably be our 6th OL lineup this year. This is a unit that must play together consistantly to gel. Chemistry is vital to OL. Our run game blows, too.

Coming out of HS means shite at this level. How many five stars fizzle out into nothing...

You can only judge what he's done on the field at this level and what we're seeing, in a very simplistic offense, is someone who doesn't process well. Not a slight against his talents, just the truth

I do remember seeing a catchable ball after being tipped some that would have went for a TD just before the half, but hey I guess that’s his fault his receivers continue to drop a lot of balls. Daniel’s is open to criticism certainly but this board is not open to criticizing the receiver drops equally. Too many drops!!!

If you watch him in person, you would realize how inaccurate this is. The plays that Daniels is hoping will happen take too long and that time he gets sacked. The OL is doing their job and giving him about 3-4 seconds on most snaps. He drops back and dances for a bit, looking way down field for the big pass when he usually has another man open somewhere else who could make a first down.

It's like he plays the part that he's scanning but he's really not because he would be able to spot those receivers if he really was scanning. Like I said, you can see what I described way better in person than on tv.

I'm not saying the OL is great or anything, but they've really overachieved considering it's 2 freshman and 5 guys thrown together at the 11th hour. They're giving him enough time on most snaps to find somebody. It's him not finding them.

OL has been fair in pass pro, but, again, we can not force them out of the zone coverages that give all teams fits. If we can rush it, we can pull a safety down. If we can do that a whole, whole lot opens up for the passing game.

WE must rush the football effectively to help. Until that happens we will suffer.

Eventually the coach will see what everyone else sees and make a change.

Just because that idiot announcer kept saying “tight windows” doesn’t make it true. He said that on about 5 hitch routes. Those aren’t tight windows, they’re fricking hitch routes.

I think His biggest problem
Isn’t vision, but confidence.

He hesitates to throw to open guys. And what that does is 1. Gives DBs time to close, and 2. Throws off all his timing routes.

You can say he’s inaccurate but when you consistently throw the ball behind timing routes it’s not because you can’t put the ball where you want it, it’s because you threw the ball too late.
