LSU is set to welcome 11 high school signees and two spring transfer additions who didn’t go through spring drills but will debut with the team this fall. Starting today, we’ll begin highlighting these summer arrivals — one at a time — just to keep those football juices flowing.
First up is linebacker Jaiden Braker, a 6-foot-3, 217-pound standout from South Gwinnett, Georgia. Braker is a long, athletic linebacker with SEC-ready size and range. He also brings elite speed to the table, finishing 10th in Georgia’s Class 7A 100-meter dash this year with a time of 10.77 seconds and helping his 4×100 relay team place fifth in the state. That kind of athleticism should give him a shot to contribute early on special teams and in sub-packages and develop into a superstar in purple and gold.

That is very fast for anyone that weighs more than 200 pounds.

Man you just have to wonder "what if" a kid like this and JT Lindsay could have had a Spring practice opportunity.
Camp is where the starters get the work, will be difficult for a true freshman to get early playing time. Not impossible, but our roster is kinda loaded.

He'll be in our 2 deep rotation at one of the lb spots, and last year shows how quickly you can lose a Perkins or weeks. Love the freshman lb haul... not sure we've had this talented fr lb class

Yea it’s going to have to be one of the freshman. Not that deep there after the starters and the eldest weeks

Braker is a stud, but I didn't realize he had that kind of speed.

The most physically talented defensive prospect since Ratphuc Hobley.

Great time. Huge strides based on his size. Poor Trindon Holiday was fast, but his size and shorter strides was a big disadvantage.
