Even though we suck it still feels good that our home field advantage/tailgating and stadium is the best in the country bar none. This is even considering NFL stadiums

Between SVP and this

Some stadiums get loud at times. For the big games, Tiger stadium is relentless for the entire game. I didn't get the ring out of my ears from the Florida 07 and last year's bama game for almost a week.

Dan and Scott know football. Anybody who does recognizes what Tiger Stadium can be on a Saturday Night.

It won't be tomorrow. Nothing to play for. Not a big game and people will leave.

I was at the game last week. Besides the cowbells those state fans don't say a damn peep. They don't even use outside voices when talking amongst themselves.

Maybe the loudest 1st half stadium. Everyone leaves at half-time.

I have been to games all over the country and have been going to LSU home and away games for 50 years. Tiger Stadium is the best there is when it is at its peak. It is the loudest I have been to , mostly because of the crowd and partly because of the acoustics. When it is on, it is on. The problem is that it is not at its peak nearly as often as it used to be.

The Ole Miss and Bama games in 2014 were both deafeningly loud. No question that the home advantage helped in the Ole Miss game that year, as the Rebs were unbeaten that year, and LSU wasn't playing that well

They must not have been to a game in 10 or so years. All the batching and moaning before and during the games about not being Bama. That's the only game the stadium is like it used to be, and that's only for a half.

Yes I go to games, today's Tiger stadium is a shell of itself.

I was 14 and my dad and I went to the game without tickets hoping to buy some in front of the stadium.

It was so packed we only found a single ticket. My dad bought me the ticket, and listened to the game in the car.
Met me outside the stadium after Troy Twillie's interception.
