You are just repeating some fake non sense.
Dude would be a top 10 pick in his sleep even with a down year.

Damone Clark should be a first team All American selection. One of the best we have had. Great season!!

Last season Clark ALWAYS played hard. Unfortunately, he was constantly out of position. In the first half of this season he continued to play hard. He was still out of position often (though not as much as last season). Still, he got better as the season went along.
Then, starting with the Alabama game, LSU completely changed their defensive approach. Suddenly, Clark started to look every bit the same as past great LSU LBs and showed the promise we all saw from 2019. The effort was always there. He just wasn't given much a chance to succeed.
Conclusion? The guy probably ALWAYS had the ability to be a great player. Unfortunately, that was suppressed by a complete imbecile at HC who "knew" exactly what kind of defense would work best at LSU only to eventually be proven COMPLETELY wrong once LSU finally dropped his stupid approach.

Hell no. Just honor the right player with #7.
Definitely someone who has enough character to not QUIT on his team. Someone that puts the TEAM first.
The opposite of of Sting and LF7

I'm so sick of yall shiting on players.
Fundamentally I agree with you. I don't think anyone denies how talented he is. Personally I just didn't see the same dude from 2019 either of the past 2 years - he just didn't seem to be invested into the team. But that's just an outside viewpoint from watching games; who knows how he acts within the walls of the building day-to-day so to talk about him 'quitting on the team' is ridiculous.

Stingley was an All-American who got hurt when we fired our coach. You have no idea what you are talking about. He earned the number 7. End of story.

The numbers “traditions” are silly.
The 18 jersey is not because it is a team vote. I think its kinda cool. The whole 7 thing needs to go away because most of the players.
But players like both so, I support it.
Flott should be #7 because he balled out this year. I am so happy for that guy, he worked and worked and got it done.
