The game is played January 4th and I believe Farrell said that played a part in him trying to get ready for the NFL draft. I understand sitting out this game, if you've already established a good draft position. God bless Farrell & Clark. They've been good for LSU.

He thanked Baker for making him the LB he is today. I for one hadn’t seen so much improvement in one year as Clarke has shown. So why didn’t he thank old coaching staff? He didn’t because at no time before Baker did any of these 4 and 5 stars kids been coached up after getting to LSU.

What? Team is not about self. This is the single biggest issue many programs face. Players are sadly turning to me me instead of team.

Tell me you wouldn't do the exact same thing that he did. They all do it. That's what happens when you have a team of NFL ready players.

Okay. I wouldn't do it.

There, I said it.

Not saying you are wrong but it’s shite like this is what make me miss the old college football days where no matter what bowl it was, the star players still played in the game regardless of draft stock.

He is not a top draft pick. He is most likely going to go in the 6-7th round or go undrafted. But again its his decision not going to hold anything against him.

Well, Devin White didn't and he had more to lose than any player in the last decade at LSU.

I love reading posts like this every year.

You self righteous fricks believe somehow you are a better person or “fan” bc you cheer for the success of an individual player over the success of the team you claim to support.

Clark will never give me or anyone of you a single dime from monies earned playing pro ball.

Honestly I don’t care if he (or anybody else for that matter) makes it or not. Good for him if he does.
What I do care about is LSU winning games.

LSU wins games when best players play.

If you quit or opt out you should be penalized by repaying NIL or the scholarship. DC graduated so this may call for an exception. All these guys want to make money so put money on the line, then they have a decision.
