Exactly. The report is a lie
OR the report was accurate to the statements given at a time

Thats why it goes to trial and not just based on initial charges

C'mon dude, to try to act like he was innocent in all of these events is absurd

There are still people arguing Lacy has zero accountability, which blows my mind.
His attorney mentioned several times that Lacy was in the wrong by speeding, and passing 4 vehicles in a no pass zone.

He did defend Lacy, with the black box data from the white car (I didn’t even know cars had black boxes) that the white car never braked until after Lacy got back into the southbound lane.

It seems clear to me that Lacy’s action triggered the chain of events that occurred, but his attorney wasn’t untruthful.

I have never said lazy is “innocent in all events”

I have said time and time again he holds responsibility for his actions. But it doesn’t come close to homicide and it’s ridiculous for the driver of the white vehicle to not have charges greater than that of Lacy

Except for the fact the truck driver directly tells the officer the white car swerved to avoid rear ending him….

Lacy was speeding and passing in the left lane of a no passing zone. It was definitely pretty reckless but honestly you see this type of stuff everyday on the roads especially from young people that are always in a hurry.

The cars in the oncoming lane panicked and swerved causing the crash. Even though you have to be a pretty shitty driver to turn that incident (tons of space, second car swerved to the left) into a major wreck but you can’t charge them for panicking when Kyren was the only one breaking the law.

Did Kyren deserve to be charged with manslaughter for that? No. Should he have killed himself for that? No. I believe he made a stupid mistake and the other parties involved are just slow brain normies that suck at driving.

Everyone wants to label the victims and the villains but it’s really just a stupid accident.

Edit: Hard to know how close Vehicle 2 was following the truck and how poor was their reaction to the situation. Was there room for them to avoid the truck? Almost everyone breaks the letter of the law when it comes to following too close. Did the truck over react? Slamming on breaks and only moving slightly off to the side when you have cars behind you. There was a great measure of distance between Lacy and the truck. Seems like all around poor driving by multiple parties and bad decision making by Lacy to speed in the wrong lane and to flee the scene.

The car deserved a minor charge but to say she deserves a heavier charge than Lacy is batshit insane.

One driver was going 25+ over the speed limit while passing multiple vehicles on a two lane street. The other driver wasn't paying attention.

lacy illegal driving indirectly caused the accident : it caused a truck to brake

Her illegal driving directly caused the accident : her vehicle struck another person

If a vehicle runs a red-light and causes two other vehicles to collide, which is ultimately at fault?

Swerved to avoid the truck that was braking and swerving to avoid Lacy.

Answer the question I posed to pride about running a red-light.

This is probably the best explanation. Sure, passing and speeding here is wrong. But he did have ample time to slow down after passing and he’s not responsible for someone veering into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting the rear of a vehicle in front of you, and that vehicle that veered into oncoming traffic was following too closely.

It sucks because had this moved forward it likely gets plead down or the charges lowered and he's playing in the NFL in 2026.

Yeah, you shouldn’t have to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid the car in front of you breaking.

and if you can’t break in time you still shouldn’t swerve into heading traffic.

Even with all of these; if he took it to trial he likely pleads down and does no time. He may be in the NFL next season. Who knows.
It would’ve been an extreme uphill battle. A battle that someone with mental illness feels is impossible. Then once things started to snowball with the second incident, it was over. That’s what happened.

The car in front of you also shouldn't have to brake and swerve off the road to avoid a car driving recklessly in the wrong lane.
