It isn’t always the coaches fault when a team looses. There was a world class pitcher on defense, and the umpire seem to be confused where the strike zone was tonight. It wasn’t always Maineri’s fault and sure not Johnson’s fault when they loose. Are we fans who support our team and love watching them, or should the players and their coaches be criticized for every game they play win or loose. I choose to support them and watch them grow into champions week by week.

Where did I say anything to the contrary? Sorry I'm not melting down into a huge puddle of primordial ooze and visceral anger after losing our second game (to the #1 team in the country) when we've only played 11 total games out of 56.

True. But they had nothing to do with the errors, the 2 nd inning meltdown by a pitcher who never started in the SEC., and the 12 LSU players left on base scoring only one run.

You better hope Johnson learns fast baw, the SEC is very unforgiving. Right now, Mulkey looks like the only solid hire by Woody, based on Johnson’s coaching so far, I’m going to have to hold back my judgement on Kelly until I see more. That’s not meant to be a bad rap on Kelly, it’s on Johnson.
