The butt of this joke who is missing is Joe Alleva. I bet he would set up KKK member on a date with an SJW. Like O even knew who Canada was aside from few mutual peers.

It’s common knowledge the coaching changes board made the Canada hire.

Why do people keep stating theories of how the O vs Canada situation went down as if they are fact?

yep, canada thought since ed didnt hire him, he was above the head coach in pecking order and that he didnt have to accept any input from ed or make any changes ed requested to the offence and that resulted in him being shown the door.

its really nothing more or less then that yet people want to make it into more then it was. the whole thing was caused by alleva shoving canada on eds staff without ed having any choice in the matter. a simple prehire intervue would have resolve any differences they had before he was hired

I think Canada values autonomy and O wants someone who will do what he says.

And O has said that in his Ensminger pres conferences.

Now I dont Think O makes huge changes, but at the same time asking Canada to take the shifts out of his offense shows a severe lack of knowledge about said offense.

Good to see Canada wasn’t happy about being handcuffed and losing to Troy.

I believe a more accurate timeline and account would be (my opinion):

Canada had free reign to implement the offense until Miss St happened.

O tells Canada to simplify the offense because the OL screws up blocking assignments, WRs don't know their routes and Etling can't get his timing down.

Canada gets pissed and scraps most of the offense as an F-U to O for the Troy game then runs to Alleva.

Alleva tells O to back off and the relationship simmers the rest of the season.

I think both bear the blame, including Alleva as well. I still believe Alleva forced Canada on O, but don't have any inside info that is the case.
