What do you want him to say? He's acknowledged that their schedule is dog shite.
I don't like his "God favors Clemson" shtick either but I don't have a problem with his comments like this.

This is why I hate Clemson. They play 13 warm-up games and then have to win just two actual games to win a championship.
Here are the quality wins of their 29 game winning streak -
- Notre Dame (even this one is debatable)
- Alabama
- Ohio State
The other 26 wins are over pitiful ACC teams and non Power 5 teams.
Losing against LSU isn't a big deal for them, because it's a guarantee that they will be here again next year. They play a 2 game schedule all year while LSU and other programs start playing "playoff" games in October.

I would have to agree with you. I had a lot of respect for Dabo but now he is mixing spiritual matters with a football game (platform), with what appears to be with the intent of gaining "fame, favor, and driving team motivation". He is walking down a very slippery slope and hope he will seriously check himself.
In the post game, in the same breath he mentioned "TV ratings", "our will would not be denied", "God's favor" and "give the glory to God".
Hey, God be to the glory for all things and for all time, I'm all in and believe! But cut the self righteousness, and 'favor' crap. Double minded?
I would expect Dabo to be spiritually self-aware of this and protect his mind/heart at all cost. I sincerely hopes he changes his tune so it's (truth) not a negative impact on others.
