Is all wrong but here's why. Both A&M and LSU should host. With LSU 17-13 in easily the toughest conference in the country and they are not going to host? Kinda ridiculous a team like UC Santa Barba would get a host spot over an SEC team with that good of a conference record. Yay for the little guys I guess

NCAA loves to spread out the regionals...if not 12 of them would be in the SE every year

Is it really LSU’s “spot?” Not the way they’ve played.

Pull for Ole Miss, then for Marceaux to throw a gem.

Yep. They also hate having two SEC teams in the championship game.

Not a great example. UCSB has won 44 games, that's incredibly impressive regardless of conference.

Put it this way, I wouldn't want LSU to have to play UCSB right now.

We could just do like Coastal Carolina did to us and go wreck someone else’s regional.

for a regional host.....absolutely. We are not talking national seed here. Miss State regarded by everyone as one of the best teams in the country took 17 innings to put us away and we didnt even play that well.

If we don’t host I hope that we draw UCSB.

Pretty sure they have zero top 50 RPI wins.

Maybe the selection committee will consider LSU’ s 17 inning game with the #3 team in the country ?

We were undefeated through 9 innings last night.

Playing 3 full games in a 20 hour period.

Well they have won 26 of their last 28 games so Im not sure there is a hotter team in the country.

And they started a midweek guy against our ace. We are poorly coached and undisciplined. Wherever we go is our own fault.

This will be completely irrelevant to the committee.

Boohoo man. We lost too many games.

Stop crying because your team doesn’t get ranked hire because of their name.

I know the home field advantage is important but I'm not opposed to going on road and avoiding a potential super regional with UCLA or Vandy.

That's who LSU will be paired with if they sneak into that 15 or 16 host site.

It sucked last year because LSU was one of last teams to get in and they got shipped out to OSU.
I think this year they might get sent somewhere a little easier as a 2 and maybe the Super pairing is a little easier.

the problem is since we are on the bubble for hosting we would go to the 14th-16th seed...so basically if we don't host we still would get matched up with a top 3 seed in supers
