Curiel is the best all around player on LSU's team hands down. Lucky to have him.

That’s awesome to hear. I was of course elated that LSU won, but you would need to have no soul not to feel bad for the Arkansas players last night.

yeah the only complaints i have on DC are the walk up song, and his dog being named Bo.

What's his walk up song anyway? I never hear that stuff.

I wonder what Curiel would have to say to you. Glorifying God is the most important thing we do every day. How refreshing to see our players be strong in their faith.

I hate that we don’t get him for 2 more seasons, but he and Milam are as good of a foundation as you could ask go to anchor next year’s team. Curiel is a born leader.

I saw the video but couldn't tell if it was Curiel or Frey.

You mean you don't want a Root acting like a dickhead all the time on the team?

I said this last night- you didn’t see him or anyone else with Arkansas acting a fool or jawing at our players like they did in the Supers. You didn’t see our players doing it either. You could see that these two teams respect each other. You could see it in some of the reactions and in a lot of the comments both ways after the game, as well.

Playing UT seems to draw all of that bullshite out of guys, unfortunately.

There are quite a few of them on this team. I actually had the thought last night that some points of the game may have involved divine intervention. I don't actually believe that, but last night was so improbable that you just think there might be an easier explanation, and the number of crosses and the Homerun Jesus i guess just led my mind to that.

Now that the emotion of the game has passed, honestly, I do too. That's really bad considering it's Arkansas. Normally I wouldn't care, but that was just a horrible way to lose.

Listening to him postgame a couple times this year tells me all I needed to know about that kid.
Fantastic parenting and great representative of the LSU brand.

We will be seeing that guy on the big stage sooner than later but for now let’s be selfish and get him a Championship or two.

Haven't seen a video of it, but at the 27:32 mark you see "someone" from LSU walking away from the outfielder as someone on Ark's staff is walking up to put their arm around him

That’s great he did that. I really do feel bad for Van Horn and Ark players. If they were playing anyone but LSU I would’ve been cheering for them. Van Horn is a great coach that just seems cursed at winning a title. He’s been so close and the craziest things happen to knock him out.

Van Horn, meet Mike Martin.

I will try. My cousin and his family were on the 3rd base line and he videoed the Jones hit and victory celebration. He then got the LSU player (Curiel) walking over there and hugging him. Guidry was going to him also but a coach came and walked him off the field.
