They were essentially the only two good players on the field for LSU. Losing Brown hurt them and Cerna. Johnson has a major rebuild for next year.

Do you mean defensively, offensively or overall?

This is the groundbreaking analysis I come here for.

I want to see who returns after a break from LSU. Let’s see how some of these players do, away from the Box. Major rebuild? With NIL, a normal rebuilding year is at hand.

Mason Braun was 5th in the SEC in batting average (.355) in SEC games, Arambide was 10th (.343). Arambide was also 2nd in HRs, 3rd in RBIs, and 2nd in OPS in SEC games.

Serna, as a true freshman, was 14th in the SEC in OPS in conference games.

he's had a major rebuild almost every season he's been the coach. He's returned one starting pitcher (Floyd) in his entire career here. He's had to replace his entire rotation every other year.

The only year he didn't have massive turnover in the lineup was 2023 when he returned Morgan, Crews, Dugas, Milazzo/Trav, Jobert, Beloso, Thompson

This is what the portal/NIL has done to college baseball, if dealing with the draft wasn't already a problem. You're going to have to completely rebuild your rotster year to year more time than not.

So you believe none of the Freshman or Arrambide are good at all?

There is no point in trying to get this idiot to dive deeper into his thoughts. What comes out will only be dumber than what he originally typed.

I don't understand why you think we are in a major rebuild...a lot of the replacements for these guys had decent playing time this year. They just need to pan out. You really just need to find a 2B whether on roster or not, and another OF.

C - Cade/Serna
1B - Serna/Braun
2B - Clauss or best incoming SS Freshman
SS - Ruckert
3B - Pearson or another incoming Freshman
RF - Harden/Braun
CF - Patrick
LF - Harden/Freshman

Harden is the only one that didn't get "alot" of reps this year but looked like it could be there. The problem with next year without a few hits on transfers is depth. The current team is upper classmen heavy.

2B - Clauss

If he couldn't get opportunities when Pearson was hurt and we were looking for literally anyone to pick up a glove and stand at 3rd base, I have a hard time believe he feels like his future is here.

Most of this is probably correct. I think we bring in a MIF to compete through the portal. Probably 1 or 2 outfielders as well. Bruan probably sticks at 1st with Serna and Bide splitting time at DH and Catcher. Pearson may get some competition at 3rd as well.

Ya that's why I have incoming freshman listed next to him...we have some stout HS short stops coming.

Arrambide is decent.

Pearson needs to go. Hs’s a fly ball machine. It may have been been How Auburn waa pitching them.

I would bet Jay is looking for a SS in the portal. Ruckert may end up playing there, but I don't believe he's inspired confidence in Jay that he doesn't need to be looking for another option there. OF is going to need some work. I also don't think he's going to be satisfied plugging in Pearson at 3rd base next year. He served a purpose when Carraway busted, but I do not think Jay views him as the long-term solution at 3rd. We've had some freshman show promise and freshmen who didn't do much. I would prob expect a lot of portal additions and Jay has plenty of time to work on that, something he didn't last year

We do, but only one looks like he may project at SS in college, Parker Loew.

I think a combo of the draft (for Weinstein and Loew) and projecting elsewhere in the infield (Martinez and Tucker) is why we're looking at JUCO shortstops right now. And why I think we will shop for one in the portal.

I don't think Ruckert is a shortstop in college either.

That garbage arse lineup needs a whole lot more than 2 players.
