Milam was the only good defensive infielder. He was absolutely fantastic and often had to make plays with zero help. He was occasionally caught playing out of position because he was trying to cover for obvious deficiencies at second base. One of the best defensive shortstops LSU has ever had.

Cerna was our best option at catcher, but still had 4 or 5 passed balls per game and couldn’t pick anyone off on the base paths.

Brown was solid, but unspectacular in the outfield. He was one of the most consistent hitters for us.

Curiel was arguably our second best defensive player after Milam.

I can't handle another year of abysmal defense and constant wild pitches.

I don't know if there's anything more frustrating to me. Bats and pitching go hot and cold, but just stop making high school level mistakes. It crippled us this season.
