Braun/Serna got on the all freshman team.

All Defensive team also for Milam and Curiel.

I guess MLB thinks otherwise on Curiel cause isnt he gonna go 1st round?

Congrats to these Tigers

Nothing. I guess I want to see both of them stay. 100% gone I know.

Neal getting DH/Utility over Arrambide is pretty bad.

Neal overall: 322/439/970 7HR 40RBI 42/32 K/BB
Neal in Conference: 294/416/857 2 HR 19 RBI 26/19 K/BB

Arrambide overall: 326/425/1.094 18 HR 51 RBI 59/27 K/BB
Arrambide in Conference: 343/431/1.178 12 HR 34 RBI 32/14 K/BB

I mean Arrambide had the second highest OPS in the conference, 2nd most HR in the conference, 3rd most RBI in the conference, 10th highest BA in the conference, and 2nd highest SLG in the conference.

Seems like he should have gotten some recognition for that.

Also, Jack Bauer and his 6.00 ERA in 13 GP making all freshman team for the pitching side is pretty bad. He throws 105 from the left side, cool. He had worse numbers than Ricken and Theophilus.

Maybe they considered how bad Arrambide was behind the plate?

DH/Util role is different than All-SEC catcher. Neal sucked defensively too

Admittedly I haven't seen Neal catch in a couple of years, but he wasn't exactly Johnny Bench back there while still here either.

That's fair. If going by offensive numbers it isn't really close.

This would be a fair critique if Neal didn't have to outright abandon the catcher position and play DH/RF for most of the season.

He's legit one of the worst defensive players in the conference.

I believe he got all defensive team. The kid from Kentucky however beat him out for 1st team. Weird.

Lot of talent and recognition to go 9-21 in league play. JJ shite the bed.

Well yeah it was a tough one, toughest one ive seen from a pitching standpoint. It isnt rocket science though. We didnt have 2 guys who could really deal on fri/sat and really nobody who could come in and hold it.

Thats all we missed(pitching) or LSU would be hosting again in two weeks if indeed we had "those type of guys on the mound". Nobody in the sec could've made the post season with the stats they put up this season at LSU.

It means if MLB wants him 1st round, then he should have made 1st team SEC.

Individual laurels are always indicative of team success and laurels.
