Crucified Last Week! Now BandWagoned!

Last week when I suggested starting or playing Landon Clark against Ole Miss AS SOON AS Leavitt started showing signs of incacurate/missed passes, not seeing open receivers, interception or "being uncomfortable".......to immediately give Clark relevant, prime playing time with our 1st team/string players....... to simply see/find out his Upside potential!?! That Clark could be pulled if he struggled, but that he might instead "light em up".

I was summarily crucified with 500 downvotes for merely suggesting that this might be a worthwhile strategy/tactic against an important SEC opponent.

I methodically explained that "we already saw/knew Sam Leavitt's obvious passing issues" (downside) against sub-par opponents AT HOME. And that the extreme noise/pressure Sam would encounter @ Ole Miss would more than likely exasperate his already known problems/issues.

I also explained that we had seen basically perfect play from Landon Clark, with not one mistake. And that what was even MORE impressive with Landon was his immediate/obvious & extreme poise, comfort and confidence while running our offense!

Almost no one could see the common sense logic of running a trial to "see/find out" how, what Landon might provide during such an important SEC game! The Reward was tremendous (perhaps a solid win) with little to no Risk (he could have been replaced with Sam at the first sign of trouble).

I was thinking ahead, looking for possible solutions to a known problem.

We Will Never Know, But We Could Have Found Out & Perhaps Won!
Instead, We Found Out What We Already Knew,
And are Back Where We Were!
Except Now With A Loss!
