Could even start kaminer for a couple innings before going to hill. But the way this is playing out, we will probably need hill for later in the game saturday....but hopefully not in the first couple innings

I like that idea. Then if Hill gets to a point where he's facing a guy for the third time, it's a lower part of the order hitter. Allowing him to probably get a couple extra outs.

Well that’s all positive news for the most part.

I don’t mind giving Henry the extra day of rest at all. While he isn’t Henry, Marceaux has the stuff to be a Friday night guy.

Honestly i dont think there is a huge difference between nikhazy and hoglund. So its not a huge difference to me. But id rather be safe this early on. I expect us to get a game, and maybe 2 this weekend

I updated the OP to reflect the new weekend rotation.

ETA: Also added in the pitching matchup for tomorrow. The kid that's throwing for South Al went CGSO against UNO a couple weeks ago. Then last week he gave 7 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings against Alabama.

So we can expect him to go 6 innings of 1 run ball against us

Around the SEC tonight is:
Western Kentucky at Kentucky (WKU leading 2-1 T4)
ETSU at Tennessee
UGA at Georgia Southern
Florida State at Florida
The Citadel at South Carolina
Texas Tech vs Mississippi State (in Biloxi)
Ole Miss at UL Monroe
Georgia Tech at Auburn
Alabama at UAB
Grand Canyon at Arkansas
Northern Illinois at Mizzou
Texas A&M at Rice

I wouldn't be surprised if Grand Canyon gets a W at Arkansas.

That's exactly what he did to Vanderbilt.

I’ll tell you what, reading up on their season to this point, it sure appears that Ole Miss likes to have a good time. It’s a pity that they’re Ole Miss because as a group, they’re entertaining.

About to walk over to the house that Ben Sheets built to watch Ole Miss play.

Ben Bianco is hitting .268 with 3 HRs and 14 RBIs. Ours is hitting a clean .077 with 0 HRs and 2 RBIs

Appears they got the good Bianco. Nice going Pawl.

Drew is playing the long game. He’s suckering Dad’s team into a false sense of security so they lob him meatballs down the middle of the plate.

Maybe.

I really wish we’d give another guy a shot at 4th starter: Walker, Hilliard, Hasty... don’t get rolling out Kaminer each midweek.

Ole Miss 1B/DH Cael Baker is a transfer from Wabash Valley CC. They were absolutely loaded last year and had several guys drafted and another bunch of guys at D1 schools now.

He slashed .506/.596/1.051 with 25 HRs and 101 RBI. He's also fat with a mullet and stole 17 bases last year. He looks like if a Natural Light can played baseball.

It's a shame he plays for Ole Miss because otherwise he'd be my favorite player in the country.

I googled him and found this astounding fact from his Ole Miss profile:

quote:

Cincinnati (2018): Appeared in 14 games, starting five at Cincinnati ... Hit .074 with three runs scored, a triple and two RBI.
