Crazy play,
Kucherak at 2nd, Milam at SS
Shot to RF
Kuch cuts, Milam is I'm guessing cutting to 3rd - not on the bag at second.
So how did we get the out at second?
Kling, came in from CF to cover.

Runner at second held up thinking he was going to tag up. Runner at first thought he was going to score so rounded second then saw him standing at third. Kling covered and tagged him trying to get back

This. Base running mistake by the guy at 3rd or 3rd base coach. Should have gone home.

Heads up play by Kling. Likely kept the Tigers in the game.

Amazing the guy on 2nd didn't score. Would like to see a shot to see what he was doing. I know they said he was tagging, but don't see how he doesn't score. Must be really slow.

The more I watch him play, the more I understand why he was highly touted. I like that guy.

Runner at second never saw the ball, never looked at his 3rd base coach clearly cost his team the run they needed to win t. WTF was he looking at.

That didn’t happen by accident, they practice that. I saw them do that at the Box the weekend before last. Kling covered, but there was no opportunity for him to make a play.

That's what I wanted to know.

Because you can't have two cut guys and no one covering the bag.

Another crazy play at second was when they reviewed the stolen base and still called Bing out. I don't think I've ever seen a review miss that badly. When the umps came back and signaled "out" I wasn't even mad because I was laughing.

Nice 10 min recap. If I never hear that announcer's voice again I will be a better man for it.

The pbp guy sounded like a high schooler getting his first gig. The color guy seemed confused half the time. But, I am grateful that there was a way to watch a mid week non conference game and I can put up with some bad announcers.

Bingo

Agree, but it should never be a heads up play.

Preach it every practice, every scrimmage, every game. If ur an OF you better be moving on bag or a backup every pitch, every ball in play.

It should be expected, but rarely is done.

Most coaches are lazy. Jay ain't one of them.

Went double cut to 3rd with 2B and SS. Couple different variations of that play. Some have the 1st baseman trailing to second, others have the CF coming in to 2nd.

All that to say, it’s a designed defensive play with runners on and a likely double to the RF wall.
