Yea, when I see Harris at 60% and 200+ yards vs Wisconsin I'll believe.

How dare anyone get excited about evidence changes being made to the offense?

How dare they expect a first year starting soph quarterack to improve?

The fricking nerve, right

keep the defense honest so they can't stack the box on Fournette and Guice. I think that can and will happen this year...at least moreso than the last 2 years.
was there an ncaa rules change that allows the D 12 men? Lol

So for the offense to be truly changing, Harris has to throw 60% and have 200+ yards? What if the Wisky defense is good and holds Harris for 52% and only 185 yards, will the offense not really be changing. What if LF has a field day and runs all over the D and the way to beat them is on the ground? Heaven forbid we not use to best RB in college ball to win us a few games.

Lulz keep hoping for lsu to develop a real offense. You will be disappointed.

Ah yes, the "youth" excuse again. It gets so tiresome.

Young and/or inexperienced QBs can, and do, play very well.

The LSU "offense" gained more yds a game than the Bama "offense" did this past yr. The LSU "offense" was the 4th best in the SEC for total yds. gained and 5th best in scoring.

The 3 teams above them with more "offense" in the SEC were QBed by 1 Jr. and 2 Srs.

I might be disappointed and then I might just as easily be happy.

There are non-fans on this board that have never been happy in their entire lives...and I've met a couple of them...life's losers at ever game!

I, for one, believe we are going to see the best, most balanced offense in Les' tenure. I think it will be better than 06, 07 and 13. We have a once in a generation RB and a budding star backing him up. Our top three WRs are all first or second day draft picks. We have a solid offensive line. We have a strong armed, athletic QB who was coming into his own prior to suffering a sports hernia v Bama and who is going to turn heads. Our offensive coaches are top notch.

There is a lot to be excited about.

Well that sounds like a stat line from last year that likely won't carry over to a win vs bama. But yea id be happy I guess. Just saying Harris has to be more effective if this team wants to sniff Atlanta.

52% is not very good. 13/25 for 185 sounds like the passing game is not very improved vs a team like Wisconsin.

This tells me how lost they are in regards to passing. Talk to any AU fan and they'll tell you Craig is a lot better at recruiting than coaching.

I'm not sure how encouraging it is when a wide receivers coach is on the job for a month and he's now coaching QBs.

but Miles and Cam's status quo damn sure isn't working. So why not.

For the record, I hope we pass <20% every game, go undefeated, and win the national championship, just to see how hard everybody melts.

Ah yes! The 6th time they say they're re-tooling the offense is always the time they actually do it.

The guy is a solid coach that knows football. He's a ex player that knows football inside out. Y'all probably didn't know he coached at LSU under Jimbo as a Quarterbacks coach before back around 2004 I think. But he'll help them in a really good way. He is already doing it by pointing shite out to Harris that he wasn't getting coached on before about his raw passing game. Craig is a stud at recruiting, but he is also a solid coach. I look for Harris to be much improved this season. A shame he didn't get there a year earlier because he could have helped Jennings also. My thoughts with Cameron is that he is just working with QB's on the offensive play calling and them knowing what to run and execute on offense. He is not on these guys all the way around with them knowing how to pass, how to command the huddle and teammates and all that shite. Which I don't understand because you are the top offensive coach you should be coaching these guys on everything.

to me all this change is good and all, but Les Miles has to change or it's all null and void. If coach Miles don't adapt and get with the type of offenses that are run in todays game. Then it'll still be the same shite all over. LF and a cloud of dust!
