CPM replacement: retired 3 time NCAA championship coach?

I wonder if Woody has thrown a line out to Pat Casey.
He checks one big box, he has a proven track record at the D-1 level. 2nd most championships to the GOAT, since 1990.
Obvious concerns, however, he is 62 and doesn't appear to have any Louisiana ties or recruiting connections. Also no word on whether he would relocate this far at his age.
He apparently is a candidate for the open Texas A & M coaching position. LINK
He also mentions in a podcast here LINK that he wouldn't rule coming out of retirement, but would not coach again for the Beavers.
It is not without precedent for an older coach to win in a completely new environment. Augie Garrido, comes to mind. He won two national championships at Texass, ages 63 and 66 respectfully, after leaving Fullerton. Granted he wasnt pulled from retirement but stayed on till age 77.
I havent heard the name Pat Casey thrown around that much- for the reasons mentioned above I suppose. But is/or should there be a level of interest from either party?
Casey says the certainty of coming out of retirement, wouldn't be unlike whether he goes to Europe or not.
Baton Rouge isn't Paris, but maybe he could learn enough French to send him on his way there after a few more championships?

How do you people come up with this shite?

Nope. He is busy solving some of New York's most sensitive cases on Law and Order SVU.

We have had our share of embarrassing issues recently, but none as bad as Oregon State rolling with a known child molester. I would never hire this immoral bum. Let his legacy stand as the coach who allowed the child predator on his team.

Nice screen name. How long did it take you to come up with that one? How old are you? 13? Does your dad know you’re posting here?

Why not Bear Bryant? He’s old, and dead, but he won a lot of championships in the day.

This 1,000 times. We don’t need a pervert coddler as a coach

Y’all really aren’t willing to educate yourselves are you? Give your high horse the night off and read the whole story:

I remember reading this at the time and thinking what a bizarre story it was. What the hell happened here and how did it get so out of hand? There's still a lie that has yet to be told here by someone. Sad stuff all around
And no gracias to Pat Casey
