when you hear players talk about other coaches at other schools, they often say something like "I know _____, he recruited me when I was in High School" So even if you don't ultimately sign for that person, you still say that person recruited you and built some form of relationship with you.

Yea that’s all I would assume he meant. I’m sure it’s gonna be emotional for him. As much as I wish he would’ve retired after 2018 I do appreciate the run he had here when he was fully healthy. 2013 was a team that should have won the natty.

And of course he got us back on track after Smoke had let things get pretty bad.

Had the chance to talk with him once or twice as well and he never anything but kind and grateful for the fans as well so I wish him well, just not this weekend.

This is their post season. Don’t let them win Tigers.

For some reason I’m thinking CPM will have his guys playing better than a 5-22 team should be playing. We can’t overlook this weekend. Look what happened to A&M last weekend, they obviously overlooked Mizzou….

LSU’s offense on the road has me feeling cautious about this weekend. LSU made A&M’s pitching staff look invincible. Mizzou comes to town and smacks them around.

Considering SC will start two lefties is worth noting as well. Hopefully the bats can get going early and have Carolina thinking about summer vacation.

The only way this is happening is a colossal collapse. And by that I mean, LSU get swept and EVERYONE else does their business. They're going to host don't worry about it.

And to the poster saying it's personal, that's ridiculous. Does he want to win? Sure. PM doesn't have anything against LSU. He was not "forced" out like you think. He understood his time was done. You can't blame the guy for taking money from SC since they wanted him.

talent differential is so vast that we should handle them if we show up focused

Talent differential is wide for sure… but we were run ruled by Northwestern.
We weren’t pitching our Aces mid week…. But we still gotta show up and play well.

Yeah I concur. I just want to maintain our 1-game better sec record over those 3 teams at 16 & 11. So for example if they each win 2 games, which is likely, I want LSU to win 2 games. I do not want us to end up tied with any of them, especially Auburn.

CPM had terrible neck pain when he was at LSU.

The fans can spend all weekend shopping hotels and flights for Omaha. It has zero impact on Johnson having the team ready to go vs SC.

Paul is the perfect example of staying too long. It’s better to leave on top of your game.

Thanks, I remembered later and it made sense.
