i’m a true believer that majority of the media has a unhealthy disdain for lsu athletics

it feels like they’ve been against the lsu grain no matter the situation

i don’t understand it

Cowher could learn a thing or two from Demosthenes…

Cowher waited until the season was over when he walked away and he did not move to another organization and then take coaches and players with him. He retired. Kiffin did not do that. He went for the money then wanted to stay around for another month or month and a half as the coach of Ole Miss....and LSU.

If you think that Kiffin or any of those coaches in the end would have respected any of the "guardrails" that were talked about, you're insane and LSU should withdraw the offer if he did.

Kiffin has never been one that is mentioned in the same sentence as ethics.....let's be honest.

He also gave Ole Miss the best season in their history, if he wouldn’t have went there they would still be a bottom of the barrel program

Since the beginning of the NIL era, it has been apparent that the players and coaches are all mercenaries.
For the most part, coaches have always been in that category.

There’s a transfer portal. The players that are going to leave will leave anyway. Also, as we’ve seen, the coaches that are going leave will leave regardless. This was a dumb move on the ole miss AD.

He wouldn't have said shite if CBS still had the SEC broadcasting contract.

It’s business. It’s no different from players jumping ship to the transfer portal for more NIL money.

Baw has been bleeding on this board during the early morning hours
None of us care about Notre Dame that much to troll their boards regarding their hires, he’s a strange fellow

Said it’s about making better young men something like that, that horse has left the barn. It’s about how much money can I make. So it is what it is, this is not college football any more.

They tend to see us as obsessed with football and having an over inflated ego about the program and our place in college football and suffering from an inferiority complex due to Alabama and before Saban Florida.

Well, the landscape of CFB is a mess and has been. It needs to be fixed. Lane is a human navigating a system and operating within the rules that are in place.

I do think reform is needed and I think the way this hire went down (sucks for Ole Miss) will prove to be the one that sparks the reform. I’m glad we got our guy…now, fix it! Let’s GEAUX!!

He's just bitter he was early to the show. Can't really blame him for that. His last contract was $7 million, 3 years. That's for a SB winning coach.

Oh some residents there would strongly disagree.
