I’m convinced it’s because they see that speed of pitching all the time. Against sec teams it’s a change of speed from what they’re used to.

Yeah, the same thing happened in regionals against Ar Little Rock last year.

His 15 minute is up. Scouting report is very easy to follow.

He's a one trick pony.

And to think he was another teams ace pitcher lol. I know it was only Wofford but even the teams on Woffotds level has shown to destroy his pitching

A&M twice, South Carolina hit him extremely hard as well.

Unfortunately, his struggles included SEC outings.

He's throwing that changeup 2-3 times every at bat. It's a very good pitch. But, if you see it multiple times and you aren't afraid of the fastball, it simply isn't enough.

South Carolina yes, A&M was really only one guy if I remember correctly

He hasn't found his breaking ball so people are sitting on the fastball or changeup. Once he can consistently land the breaking ball teams will not be touching him up. He was pretty consistent with it during the fall but just isn't translating so far this season.

That is why he was very successful against Arkansas in the CWS. Being able to command 3 pitches makes a big difference.
