Multiple coaches have came out and said the money is a wash in most instances so all the things that used to matter still matter to an extent. We use that when we're on the wrong side i.e the four 5stars we got outbid for 2025 cycle. Outside of probably just not having more money than oregon Texas and USC it's also been said that our organization was having internal differences and some guys weren't doing their best on the trail.

Underwood must be an outlier.

If money isn't that important why are so many players hitting the portal? I read there were 3000 players in the portal this year. NIL has changed college football forever. You will see more and more of the top recruits going to the the highest bidder. It's the natural progression because a career in the NFL is not guaranteed.

He was supposed to be an elite recruiter. Hah!
If they were talented he sure as hell didn’t develop them!
Kirby either ran him off or was happy to see him go although UGa has a awful WR room
