In his first two years with the Tigers, Cooper's expertise coaching the secondary was evident as LSU had one of the best defensive backfields in the country. LSU led the SEC and ranked 10th in the nation in pass defense allowing 169.8 yards per game

We fired him and so did the gators, so those here that are so in love with him need to take a step back and analyze.

If we bring back Corey Raymond and let Terry Joseph stay at Texas I won't be happy.

Coaches not retained with a new staff are not fired.

Raymond gets way too much credit for riding Cooper's coattails. He's overrated but still he doesn't just flat out suck. The bigger problem is that he was joined at the hip to Ryan Clark and that should be a deal breaker to anyone capable of tying their own shoes

Ron Cooper is the most overrated coach to ever step foot in Tiger stadium

PP7 only came to LSU because of Les

TM7 was here because of Frank

You’re such a dolt.

Cooper’s career has dwindled since leaving LSU, he progressively had lesser and lesser roles. All until he landed the HC gig at Long Island U, yeah, Long Island U
